The Hamilton Project handles a wealth of projects which include an element of required appropriate interpretation and signage. We have explored the possibilities of utilising new technologies to support innovative interpretation through the use of the web, downloadable content, mobile phone technology and GPS. The use of such technologies widens access and helps attract a younger audience who are used to attractions offering the use of such technologies. We have developed schemes which require the development of appropriate routes and access, taking into consideration DDA standards and the recommendations of disabled agencies.
