Irwell Sculpture Trail
On behalf of the Irwell Trail Partnership (Lancashire County Council, Salford City Council, Bury Council and Rossendale Council), The Hamilton Project is managing the development and delivery of a 6 year Business plan. The plan includes the delivery of all signage, waymarking, interpretation and marketing. As part of the management of the Trail, we have developed plans which include management processes and guidelines for commissioning, maintenance and marketing and the concept of the Friends of the Trail, to help support the monitoring of the state of the Trail and to encourage involvement of younger people.
As part of the project managing process we have identified potential future cultural partners, funding opportunities, deliverers and local steering groups.
The delivery will build up to the launch of a new brand, website, routes, downloadable content, signage and waymarkers. The launch will be punctuated with local launch events unveiling temporary commissions within each of the boroughs.
