Media Skills rebrand

Media Skills is a consortium of media professionals from the North West with a five year track record in training and development. Their trainers all work in the industry and each course they offer is developed with media employers so the training is always relevant.

The expertise and approach of Media Skills is recognised by the industry having been repeatedly commissioned by Vision+Media to design and deliver training and support schemes for freelancers since 2008.

Among the founders are independent producer and journalist Janet Graves and award winning documentary maker Christine Pyke both of whom qualified as professional trainers and mentors in 2002 with the backing of Vision+Media. By working with a wide spectrum of other media professionals, the consortium provides a rich resource of skills from high definition camera training to expertise in multi platform working.

Time identifying smart code greets visitors to the site with either a 'good morning' or 'good afternoon' delivering a relaxed greeting, mimicking the informal breakfast meeting approach of the sessions. A simple one page microsite execution punches above it's weight by featuring links to external event based information and multiple email channels to best categorise enquiries.

An accompanying editable email template allows for low cost and heavily targeted marketing.

The Hamilton Project setup a branded Twitter account which users can follow direct from the microsite.
